Every start of the school year the freshmen students are given an orientation about the library where they can be acquainted with the whereabouts in University library, its librarians and staff, and with its facilities.

Surely the orientation proves helpful for students throughout their course of study in the university.

The UA&P library administration organized an orientation in cooperation with the Guidance Office and the Office of Student Affairs last June 8-10, 2010 for 15 sections of freshmen students.

The said activity was led by the new librarians, namely Ms. Fevie Macasaet and Ms. Renee Bacay, and the reference librarian, Mr. Rey Aspera. The orientation enumerated the different resources housed in both libraries, the services offered, the rules and regulations, and presented the library administration.

The activity was also supplemented with a library tour by Mrs. Asela Santiano for Don Eugenio Lopez Library and Mrs. Edna Castro for Don Emilio Ejercito Library. The tour gave students an overview of the two libraries and their different sections and provided an actual tutorial on how to use the OPAC and the online databases.
