Catalyst, one of the student organizations at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), is organizing a big pro-life and chastity conference for young people.

Ten thousand teens from all over Metro Manila are expected to attend the “Real Love Revolution” at the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia on February 27, 2011 (Sunday) from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The conference will feature two renowned speakers on life and love, chastity and sexuality: Ed Sorreta of Pro-Life Philippines and Jason Evert of “Romance Without Regret” fame. Evert has been going around the US giving talks to more than 100,000 young people every year.

The conference will start with a Sunday Mass to be concelebrated by Pampanga Archbishop Paciano Aniceto, Chairman of the Commission on Family and Life, and San Fernando Auxiliary Bishop Roberto Mallari, Vice-Chairman of the Episcopal Commission on Youth. The famous Madrigal Singers will provide the solemn music for the Mass.

The conference will be supervised by more than 200 UA&P Catalyst volunteers, in cooperation with Couples for Christ and the Diocesan Youth Commission. The participants will come from various high schools and colleges in Metro Manila and neighboring districts, as well as parish organizations and diocesan youth groups.
