The Philippines’ growing population has strengthened foreign exchange and purchasing power to the developing nation’s promising economy, according to a new book published by the Center for Research and Communication.

Authored by Dr. Bernardo Villegas, the book Positive Dimensions of Population Growth will be launched on July 1 (Friday) at Fully Booked in Bonifacio High Street, Taguig. It compiles essays that discuss historical trends, empirical findings, and policy updates pertaining to the thesis that population growth is a positive factor in attaining sustainable human development.
