The University of Asia and the Pacific’s annual Freshmen-Sophomore ceremonial rights capped a week of activities for the freshest batch of Dragons that included creative challenges to dress up as geeks, stereotypes of music and fictional characters.

This welcoming project marketed as “Hatchweek” held from August 1 to 5 and organized by the College of Arts and Sciences Student Executive Board paired junior “dragons” with freshmen “eggs” as participation in the activities.

The ceremony was graced with performances from dance groups ISA and Squadra and popular band Someday Dream.

Hatchweek, created for freshmen to be more comfortable in their new University environment, concluded with the awarding of dragons who sported the best costumes of the week, and recognized the best Dragon and Egg pair. #
