As part of the originally conceived building plan for the UA&P Ortigas campus, three construction projects will start within the next nine months.

The first two are university projects. These are the four-story Parking and Sports Building (PSB) and the four-story Annex Building that will house the front office services and cafeteria services.

The PSB will be an all-weather parking facility primarily for our pre-paid student parkers. The first three levels will have more than 200 parking slots for varying vehicle sizes, while the top floor will provide sports and recreational facilities. Construction of the PSB will start this month (June).

In December 2012, the other projects will start their groundbreaking. The new four-story Annex Building will provide space for the Registrar’s Office, the Financial Management and Reporting Unit, Admissions Office, and other offices. One floor will be allocated for the much-improved and expanded cafeteria and dining services.

The third project is the construction of the seven-story University Residence Hall (URH) on a portion of the Open Parking lot along St. Josemaria Escriva Drive. Its construction is consistent with the campus plans of similar university corporate undertakings of Opus Dei in other countries. The URH construction will be funded totally from external sources and will be owned by the University Center Foundation, Inc. An agreement will soon be signed with UA&P for the use of the land. This facility will house male residents, among whom are faculty members and students of UA&P.

The construction of these three buildings is integrated in our strategic plan for improved office environment and services. These upcoming infrastructure projects are possible attractions for donations to the other projects and programs of UA&P.
