Two publications and a pro-life ad of University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) students have been shortlisted in this year’s Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA).

The Bosun is UA&P’s official student publication

Student publication The Bosun and the Business Economics Association’s news magazine Fundamentals have been named finalists in the “Best Student Organ – College Level” category.

Stand Up for Life, an advocacy video produced by the past school year’s Student Executive Board, is also included in the “Best Student Public Service Ad – TV” shortlist. The video aimed to defend life and the family and was released as part of the SEB’s pro-life campaign last year.

The CMMA is held annually to “reward [and] pay tribute to media products that enhance the total human development of the Filipino audience through the competent and professional use of mass media techniques.”

The awarding ceremonies will be held on September 25 at the Star Theater in Pasay City.
