The UA&P Chorale, with choirmaster Noemi C. Binag, yesterday won the top prize at the Heavenly Voices Choral Competition – College Category.

Held at the SM Mall of Asia, the contest was organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) as part of the 1st Christkindlmarket Manila, a week-long festival that seeks to recreate the traditions and ambiance of a European Christmas.

The UA&P Chorale sang “Pasko Acapella Medley” by Ryan Cayabyan and “O Magnum Mysterium” by Morten Lauridsen. They won P20,000 and premium Christmas items.

On December 14, the group will stage a Christmas fundraising concert in collaboration with Dulaang ROC and UA&P Drumline. Read more about it »
