Based in Brigham Young University Law School in Utah (USA), the Academy is composed of international scholars and jurists dedicated to the study of jurisprudential principles that underlie laws and policies on the traditional family. It seeks to promote intelligent discourse on the foundations of the family, including marriage, parenting, and extended family relations.

In May last year, Atty. Imbong presented a paper entitled “Reclaiming Family: A Case for Generative Solidarity” at the Academy’s Symposium in Doha (Qatar) sponsored by the Doha International Institute for Family Studies and Development. She is due to present another paper in June at the Cardozo Law School of Yeshiva University in New York City.
