PACUCOA ConsultancyBeefing up  accreditation efforts of “accreditable”  programs towards  2018 strategic goal of  the University,  once again,  the institution opened its doors to PACUCOA on August 28, 2013 when three (3) undergraduate programs had their consultancy visit,  a one-day orientation and workshop from 9:00 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon. In attendance were OpCom members, Program Directors and faculty representatives and Administrative Assistants of  three (3) undergraduate programs (AB ECO, BS EM and BSIT) together with the VP for Academic Affairs and the University Registrar.

The team was composed  of Dr. Eric Olivarez as Chair and in charge of AB Economics Program, Dr. Flordeliza Anastacio for BS Entrepreneurial Management Programs, and Mr. Rejan Tadeo for BS Information Technology Program. Relevant documents and files were reviewed by the team during the workshop.

If found compliant based on  the team’s report to PACUCOA, the Programs shall be advised with a formal notification to proceed with the self-survey leading to a preliminary visit and  which should take place not later than one year from the time of consultancy visit.

Per new directives of PACUCOA, Preliminary Visit is followed by succeeding phases of accreditation, namely,  Level I Formal Visit, Level II Reaccreditation (RA) Visit, Level III RA visit, and Level IV  RA visit. With a program under Level IV RA status, the University qualifies for Institutional Accreditation Status, a major consideration for autonomous status.
