*update: The School of Law and Governance (SLG) will hold a Law School Qualifying Test (LSQT) at ACB 201 and ACB 202 on May 17 (Saturday) at 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Call 637-0912, local 323 or 368.

Starting June 2014, the UA&P School of Law and Governance will be offering a Juris Doctor (JD) or law program following a straight 7-year track for high school graduates, and a 4-year track for college graduates. Competitive exams for admission into the 4-year Juris Doctor program are scheduled on December 7, 2013 and on February 22, 2014.

The new school seeks to address society’s current need for individuals who will bring to their legal and governance work a combination of a broad culture, well-honed skills in advocacy and in policy analysis, an ethical sense, a keen understanding of the holistic and integrated character of society, government, and business— all with a regional and global perspective.

SLG will assume oversight over existing UA&P courses leading to Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Economy.

Application deadlines are December 3, 2013* and February 8, 2014.  High school graduates who wish to apply to the 7-year JD program should take the UA&P entrance exams for entering college freshmen.
