UA&P alumnus Edward Rojas won 2nd Place in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) held last November 8 at F1 Hotel in Bonifacio Global City. A graduate of the Entrepreneurial Management (EM) program batch 2014, Edward competed alongside current EM seniors Nikola Ivan Romasanta and Anna Isabel Lopez against participants from Ateneo, The One School and FEU. Out of 38 student applicants, only 13 were qualified to join the contest.

Edward will join the the other winners on January 23-25, 2015 for the Regional competition in the Philippines. The global finals will be held on April 15-17 in Washington DC, USA.

Inspiring young people to start and grow entrepreneurial ventures, the GSEA operates as an international series of competitions for student entrepreneurs who are attending a recognized high school, college or university, own a for-profit business that has been operational for at least six months, and are principally responsible for its operation. GSEA represents over 1700 of the leading student entrepreneurs from over 20 countries.  The competition is in its second year.
