Last December 28, the University of Asia and the Pacific held a mass in the Stella Orientis Oratory to celebrate the Marian Year of the Family.

This is in observance of the Marian Year, as called upon by Bishop Echevarría.

The Prelate of Opus Dei, Bishop Javier Echevarría, has convoked a Marian year that will begin on December 28 to pray for families. This date is the liturgical feast of the Holy Family. The Marian year will end on the same feast day in 2015, which will be held on December 27.

The University will organize related activities on campus scattered throughout the year, which will be concluded with another mass in December 2015.
