UA&P alumna Clarice Fajardo ranked third in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) held last March 29 alongside four other alumnae who also passed the exam. According to the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board for Professional Teachers, 12,103 elementary teachers out of 44,144 examinees (27.42 percent), and 17,904 secondary teachers out of 56,596 examinees (31.63 percent) successfully passed the LET.

Fajardo graduated magna cum laude and batch salutatorian in 2013 with an AB in Humanities with a Professional Certificate in Child Development and Education. She will also be graduating with an MA in Education Major in Child Development and Education (CDE) this June.

Her fellow CDE alumnae who passed the recent licensure exam are Sarah Isabel Gabriel, Regine Marie Mallari, Mary Agnes Bernadette Cuadra, and Jamie Alyssa Tecson.

Last year, Marian Teresa Rosete and Ina Cielo Ivane Gonda—also CDE alumnae—passed the LET and were ranked among the top ten passers of their respective exams.
