The Center for Research and Communication (CRC) launched the latest book from Dr. Bernardo Villegas, The Book of Virtues and Values (4th edition), last August 14 at UA&P. Like the previous edition, the book emphasizes that good values can only come from the hard and persevering work of individuals who are struggling to live both human and supernatural virtues.

In his foreword to the new edition, Asian Institute of Management former President Francis Estrada wrote that The Book of Virtues and Values “offers food for thought and action to anyone who wants to live a full and ‘purpose-driven’ life.”

“The author offers a description of the Filipino—his strengths and weaknesses—as he knows them. He speaks of the Filipino’s many endearing strengths and, most importantly, makes a forthright assessment of his weaknesses,” Estrada wrote. “But he does not end there. What is, in my opinion, the book’s biggest contribution to the Philippine Society is that it offers a roadmap and tool kit to live a meaningful, productive and compassionate life.”

Dr. Bernardo Villegas, Research Director for CRC and co-founder of UA&P, may be seen talking about the previous edition of the book in the video below:
