EM students bag second place in social business model competition

Kaila Jaine Dela Torre (EM 2nd year), Dainele Renee’ Fajilagutan (EM 3rd year), Jessica Luciano (EM 4th year) and Mara Samson (EM 4th year) won 2nd Place in the Want to be Boss: A Social Business Model Competition last January 16, 2016 at GK Enchanted Farm in Angat Bulacan.

The business model is called Fine Swine, a social business proposal involving the full value chain of a pig farm that will source their organic feeds from different communities. The proposal aims to help pig farmers in areas of Narra and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

This event is a partnership between Social Adventours and Gawad Kalinga Enchanted Farm which seeks to provide an avenue for young entrepreneurs to hone their skills, talents and further develop their start up businesses.
