Social Extension Projects

The University’s social extension projects, mainly through its hallmark Center for Social Responsibility, aims to maximize synergy of the University community to uplift others’ lives–a desire borne out of the Christian doctrine that every person has the social obligation to reach out to those in need.

UA&P’s brand of “social responsibility” goes beyond common notions attributed to charity and stewardship that are commonly expressed by dole-outs. Social responsibility is viewed along the lines of uplifting the dignity, productivity and sustainability of people, companies, and communities.

Throughout the years, the University through the Center has engaged in various, wide-reaching projects:

• Community Development
• Strategic Planning
• Character Education
• Poverty Alleviation

Through its Civics Desk and various volunteer activities, the Center for Student Affairs also leads some community outreach programs of the University.
