All BS Accountancy (BSA) students take a QE at the end of their 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year of the curriculum, except those who are exempted based on the criteria given in the next subsection. The passing grade per qualifying exam is 75. The 1st year and 2nd year QEs are administered in two modes: written (70%) and oral (30%), while the 3rd year QE is a written exam only. All QEs are a combination of theory and problem questions.
