The UA&P Center for Social Responsibility (CSR) held the Sustainability Dialogue on the ISSB Transition Pathways for Philippine Companies on August 12, 2026, at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila.

The dialogue brought together leading Philippine companies to discuss practical strategies, challenges, and experiences in adapting to PFRS S1 and PFRS S2, the new sustainability reporting standards based on the global standards developed by the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).

PFRS S1 provides guidance on reporting sustainability-related information that may affect a company’s financial performance and prospects, while PFRS S2 focuses specifically on climate-related risks and opportunities. The transition to these standards is part of the Philippines’ move toward more consistent and internationally aligned sustainability reporting, following the updated requirements outlined in SEC Memorandum Circular No. 16, Series of 2025.

Distinguished speakers from First Philippine Holdings Corporation, Ayala Corporation, SM Investments Corporation, Jollibee Group, MacroAsia Corporation, Energy Development Corporation, Mynt (GCash), Filinvest Development Corporation, and EastWest Bank shared their organizations’ experiences and insights on navigating the transition. The Philippine Stock Exchange served as the moderator of the panel discussions.
