JUSTICE, LEADERSHIP, AND ETHICAL GLOBAL GOVERNANCE
School of Politics and Governance
AB in Political Economy
Today’s increasingly complex national and global environment calls for a more integrative mindset, and contemporary social, political, and economic challenges can no longer be approached from a single perspective.
Our political economy program equips students with the knowledge and analytical skills needed for understanding social realities, examining closely and in depth the multifaceted political and economic factors at the domestic and international levels. Students are trained to employ theories and methodologies from political science, philosophy, economics, history, sociology, and public management which enables them to acquire a holistic approach that facilitates making well-grounded governance decisions and exercising effective leadership.
Through the years, we have produced excellent graduates who are involved in politics and governance, diplomacy and foreign service, development work and advocacies, business and corporate world, media communications, research, and academe, both in the country and in the international community, making substantial contributions for the good of society.
