SMN opens nominations for the UA&P HELM Awards 2026

The School of Management (SMN) invites the UA&P community to nominate outstanding SMN alumni for the UA&P HELM Awards 2026, a recognition program that celebrates graduates whose leadership, achievements, and contributions have created meaningful impact in their communities, industries, and society.

Established in 2022, the HELM Awards honors SMN alumni who embody the values of Honesty and Integrity, Excellence in Leadership, Legendary Impact, and Motivating Effect.

Two Levels of Recognition

The UA&P HELM Alumni Awards are conferred under two levels:

Young Trailblazers – for alumni who graduated within the last 15 years, from Batch 2010 to 2025

Hallmark Leaders – for alumni who graduated in 2009 or earlier

All award categories may be conferred under either level.

Award Categories

Nominations may be submitted under the following categories:

UA&P HELM Alumni Achievement Award (National/International Level)

Recognizes alumni whose work or leadership has produced measurable and sustained impact at the national or international level, regardless of industry or field.

UA&P HELM Alumni Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Recognizes alumni who have demonstrated exceptional innovation, entrepreneurial leadership, or business creation that generates economic, technological, or social value.

UA&P HELM Alumni Award for Community Engagement and Social Advocacy

Honors alumni involved in volunteerism, social development, advocacy, inclusive business, or grassroots initiatives that improve the lives of communities. The two sub-categories are:

• Social Enterprise Award

  Recognizes alumni who create or lead mission-driven enterprises that use sustainable business models to address social issues, empower communities, and generate inclusive economic opportunities.

• Public Enterprise Award

  Recognizes alumni who demonstrate exemplary leadership in public service and contribute to community development through effective governance, policy implementation, and the delivery of essential public programs and services.

UA&P HELM Alumni Award for Professional Achievement

Recognizes alumni who have attained distinction and demonstrated leadership in their profession, including the corporate sector, academe, research, and other professional fields.

Who Can Be Nominated?

• Eligible nominees must be official graduates of the UA&P School of Management and must not be currently employed by UA&P, serving as an officer or member of the UA&P Dragons Alumni Association, Inc. Board of Trustees, or serving as a member of the UA&P Board of Trustees.

• Nominations may be submitted by any individual who is familiar with the nominee’s achievements, leadership, or contributions. However, School of Management employees may neither nominate nor be nominated.

• Nominators may nominate multiple qualified alumni. However, each nominee may only win in one award category during the cycle.

Nominations are open until September 1, 2026.
