The UA&P History Department and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines invite everyone to the Rizal Studies Conference 2026 to be held on June 18 and 19 (Thursday - Friday) at the Dizon Auditorium, featuring the lectures of Ateneo historian Prof. Ambeth R. Ocampo, UP Visayas Chancellor Clement C. Camposano, scholar and curator Dr. Cristina Martinez-Juan, and UA&P Professor Emeritus Dr. Paul A. Dumol.
The conference, with the theme “Rizal: The Man of Many Projects,” marks the 70th anniversary of the approval of the Rizal Law. Even 165 years after his birth, Dr. Jose Rizal remains timely and timeless, as explored through new research and insights to be shared by the speakers and notable paper presenters from across the country.
UA&P faculty, staff, and students may attend the keynote and plenary lectures and panel presentations, provided they present their university ID.
UA&P alumni and members of the university community who would like to participate in the conference can register here. For the Php 2000 registration fee, participants will receive a conference kit, lunch for both conference days, and a certificate of participation.
