To strengthen international academic ties, UA&P welcomed Mr. Lloyd Walker, Vice President of Miyazaki International University (MIU), Japan, on April 27 for an initial partnership meeting.

The MIU Vice President (see photo below, center) was received by Dr. Ruel Maningas, Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs and Research and Program Director for the Master in Applied Business Analytics program of the School of Management, and Ms. Jhona Camba, Senior International Affairs Officer.

The discussions centered on fostering collaborative initiatives designed to bridge educational and professional opportunities between MIU and UA&P. Both institutions explored how to align their respective strengths—specifically in management, business analytics, and liberal arts—to create a robust framework for long-term cooperation.

This meeting marks the beginning of a potential strategic alliance to enhance global mobility and academic excellence for students and faculty alike.
