UA&P named in the 2026 Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings

The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) has placed in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings, a global assessment that measures how higher education institutions contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The participation of UA&P in this international ratings reflects the University's ongoing efforts toward rigorously measuring its progress against global standards. It provides the University with a clear baseline to evaluate its ongoing academic, research, and community engagement initiatives, helping it identify specific areas for continued growth.

In the 2026 ratings, UA&P was assessed across several key SDG categories, including No Poverty (SDG 1), Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). These areas highlight the University's commitment to creating a positive and lasting impact beyond the classroom.

“This rating places us at the international academic stage, which directly sustains our drive to maintain UA&P's autonomous status,”  said Dr. Fe Gladys B. Golo, UA&P Vice President for Academic and Faculty Affairs. “We thank the collective efforts of the various personnel in the University for this important milestone.”
